Director (Performance director) | Will Usher
Will has been a full-time triathlon coach for 21 years, learning from some of the sport’s most respected figures and applying those lessons to guide over 200 athletes to Great Britain Age Group success, including multiple Top 10s, podiums, and champions across ITU World and European events, IRONMAN, and Challenge Family races.
He is the Founder and Head Coach of Precision Race Team, Formerly the UK and EMEA’s No.1 IRONMAN team, made up largely of top 1–5% Age Group athletes, with over 100 GB internationals and multiple World and European medallists.
Will coaches athletes from beginner to elite and has also provided expertise to brands and media including Billy monger, Jamie lang, HUUB, Speedo, Gordon Ramsay, The Times, The Telegraph, The Mail on Sunday, ITV’s Good Morning Britain, and 220 Triathlon.
His philosophy is simple: every athlete deserves an individual approach. He provides clear guidance and personalised targets, built on strong communication and meaningful feedback to drive performance.
Director (Head of Development) | Raya Usher
Raya Usher is a Partner, Coach, and Head of Coach Development at Precision Coaching, as well as Head of International Markets at TriDot. An internationally respected coach with over a decade of experience, she blends her background as a former Canadian International Alpine ski racer and competitive triathlete with an athlete-centred approach.
Certified through IRONMANU, British Triathlon, and TriDot Pool School, Raya has coached full time since 2018, supporting hundreds of athletes across all levels. She specialises in ambitious, driven age-groupers balancing career, family, and performance goals—helping them turn structure, feedback, and consistency into podiums and personal bests.
She also serves as an IRONMANU Course Instructor and leads TriDot’s commercial operations outside the Americas. As an athlete, Raya has competed across all distances since 2015, earning IRONMAN podiums and qualifying for ETU, ITU, IRONMAN, and IRONMAN 70.3 World Championships.
Manager (Head performance coach) | Sion-Kelly McIntosh
With a decade of experience coaching hundreds of athletes up to an Olympic standards, at a young age Sion brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the training environment. Holding a bachelor’s degree in Sports and Exercise Science and a degree in Psychology, he employs a comprehensive approach to optimise performance, addressing both the physical and mental aspects of training. As an elite-level swim coach, he has worked closely developing swimmers from 8 years of age right through to olympic standard. additionally Sion has secured eight national age group titles across various distances, including a sub-10 hour Ironman performance and is currently working on taking the next steps towards a coveted pro license. His proven ability to develop tailored training programmes for people from all walks of life and any ability enables his athletes to excel, ensuring they reach their full potential in this demanding sport whilst balancing their time effectively to ensure that family, friends and enjoyment are at the front of all his athletes agendas.
