A handful of athletes. A shared ambition.

In October 2010, Will founded ONE Triathlon RDS. What began with a handful of athletes grew into a team of around 150 members, with an active racing squad of approximately 80.

More than 40 athletes earned selection for Great Britain’s Age Group Triathlon and Duathlon teams at World and European Championships, with several returning as medallists. In 2012, the women’s team secured bronze at the National Relay Championships—the squad’s first national honours.

The 2013 World Championships in London became a major focus, with 19 athletes representing Great Britain’s Age Group team. The following year, ONE Triathlon RDS was voted Triathlon Club of the Year at the 220 Triathlon Awards.

Behind those results were three enduring values: performance, team spirit and community. Will’s structured training sessions brought athletes together to work hard, support one another and develop across every distance, from sprint triathlon to IRONMAN.

A new name. The same team spirit.

In 2018, the development squad became Precision Race Team. The name changed; the commitment to performance, community and healthy competition remained.

The squad was built as a centre of excellence for ambitious amateur triathletes, including athletes competing within the top 5% of their age groups. Weekly training sessions and squad races created an environment where athletes could challenge one another, share knowledge and keep progressing together.

A defining achievement came in 2019, when Precision Race Team became the No. 1 IRONMAN team in both the UK and EMEA.

More experience. More people welcome.

Today, Precision Coaching brings that experience to athletes of every level, from complete beginners to seasoned competitors. Our ambition is to build a welcoming, inclusive community across the country, united by a desire to learn, improve and support one another.

Through our work with organisations including IRONMAN U and the Endurance Sports Coaching Institute, we continue to develop our coaching knowledge and raise our standards. We combine modern training methods with personal, compassionate support that recognises the individual behind every goal.

The next chapter is about more than results. It is about helping people find their place in the sport, celebrating different backgrounds and abilities, and pursuing personal and shared goals together.
