FITNESS INTO PERFORMANCE

Your training has a purpose.
Give race day a plan.

RaceX is TriDot and RunDot’s companion technology for personalised race simulation, prediction and execution. It combines your FitLogic-modelled fitness with the demands of your event to help you turn the training you’ve done into a race you can execute with confidence.

01

Predict.

See the race ahead.

Your predicted finish time and race splits, built from your FitLogic-modelled fitness. For multisport, see swim, T1, bike, T2 and run together; for running, focus on your finish and pacing plan.

02

Plan.

Know how to execute it.

Specific swim and run paces. A bike power target in watts, linked to your projected race-day FTP. A plan that helps you manage your effort and arrive at the run with something left.

03

Simulate.

Explore what could change.

Test changes in fitness, conditions and equipment before race day. Compare scenarios and courses to understand what could make a difference to your own performance.

INSIDE RACEX

From your training calendar
to your race-day blueprint.

Follow the journey from TriDot into RaceX, then explore the predictions, power plan and course analysis. These nine screens show a multisport example; RaceX also supports running through RunDot.

THE POWER OF “WHAT IF?”

Test race day.
Before race day.

What would a stronger bike leg mean for your finish? How could hotter weather change your plan? Explore the variables in RaceX and see the projected effect on your race.

BUILT AROUND REAL RACING

The course changes the race.
Your fitness changes the plan.

Specific to your race.

RaceX accounts for the course, elevation and expected temperature and humidity. For the bike, power, wind and terrain analysis bring the demands of the route into focus.

Targets you can follow.

See exact pacing targets rather than broad training zones: bike watts and percentage of FTP, plus swim and run pacing, including grade-adjusted pace where shown. FTP is your functional threshold power or pace—the reference used to set an appropriate race effort.

A projection that evolves.

As your fitness develops and race day approaches, revisit your prediction. New training information and changing expected conditions help keep the plan relevant to the athlete arriving on the start line.

REHEARSE THE EXECUTION

Make the plan familiar
before it matters.

Use race rehearsals to practise your RaceX pacing alongside your nutrition, hydration and equipment. Review how it feels with your coach, refine the details and take that experience into race day.

Predictions are projections, not guaranteed results. Your data, the conditions and how you execute the plan all matter.

YOUR NEXT RACE STARTS HERE

Ready to see your race?

RaceX runs through your TriDot or RunDot account. Here’s what happens when you get started.

  1. Choose your platform

Use TriDot for triathlon and multisport, or RunDot for running. The links below take you away from Precision Coaching to create or access your account, with two weeks free for new users.

  2. Build your athlete profile

Add your recent performances, fitness assessments and training information. This gives the technology the personal context it needs to model your race.

  3. Open RaceX and add your race

In the TriDot athlete portal, choose Engage → RaceX, then browse races or add a custom race. In the mobile app, use Home → Add a Race, or Race Detail → ⋯ → Manage in RaceX.

  4. Explore your race plan

Review your predicted finish, splits and pacing targets for your event. Look at the course, expected conditions and whether each leg is shown as optimised or projected.

  5. Test it. Rehearse it. Race it.

Explore What-If scenarios, revisit the projection as training progresses, and practise your pacing, nutrition and equipment in race rehearsals before the day arrives.

You’ll leave Precision Coaching to create or access your TriDot/RunDot account and open RaceX. The free trial is for new users; available RaceX features and ongoing access depend on your platform and subscription. Review the current trial and plan details during signup.
